Best Chris Hemsworth Haircut and Hairstyle Ideas With Pictures

Loose layers fall from a slightly off-center part and accentuate his quintessential widow’s peak. Now with that in mind, we’re taking a walk down memory lane to make sure you know exactly which Chris Hemsworth hairstyle is right for you and how to do it right. Chris Hemsworth is no mere actor; he’s an institution unto himself. Hailing from Australia, Hemsworth catapulted into global stardom through his larger-than-life portrayal of Thor in Marvel’s cinematic universe. With his god-like physique, chiseled features, and iconic hammer, he embodied heroism, bravery, and masculinity on the silver screen. Make sure the top is at least four inches long on the crown of the head. Ask for a tapered undercut hairstyle for men with a #6 clipper guard. Comb the long top to the side and slick down with a strong hold styling product. The Chris Hemsworth short Extraction haircut is a classic short hairstyle with a modern twist.

Shoulder Length Haircut

Rather than to the side, here Chris sweeps his hair up and back in a mini-quiff. The sides are short and the top back a little messy, but it’s a great everyday look. Again, the hair is swept and gelled to one side, but the sides are neat. They’re too short to style much, but they’re secured backwards with the same gel that’s touching the top. This red-carpet ready look is a touch too casual but it works on Chris.

How do you get long hair like Thor?

His center-parted tresses tuck behind his ear on one side but fall free on the other, and the layers blend seamlessly into the scissor-cut hair at the nape. A modern slick back creates a debonair vibe that is versatile enough to wear to a classy black-tie event or corporate holiday party. Chestnut-colored highlights against deep brown hues give Hemsworth a modern, sophisticated appearance reminiscent of the notoriously classy James Bond. Hemsworth’s flowing long hair with a part was a masterpiece in his role as Thor. The cut solidified him as a global heartthrob, bringing sex appeal to the silver screen.

The crew cut is one of the most famous and common military haircuts out there. Below, it goes a little (a lot) over the regulations as Chris Hemsworth paired it with a full beard instead of the usual clean cut look. So that your hairstylist would give you the right Chris Hemsworth Thor Ragnarok haircut, you need to tell them to trim your sides and back with the guard size between 3 and 4. Chris Hemsworth hair on the top of his head is left quite long, between 1.5” and 2”. Also, do not forget about the textured cut if you really want to get the right Thor hair style. Chris Hemsworth long hair in the front is styled so that it creates a flick, so mind that too.

Some consider shoulder-length hair as the compromise between short and long hair. Whichever the case, we think you could look very handsome while sporting one, especially if you go for a center part with pushed behind the ears bangs like below. Hemsworth’s hair color has changed over the years, reflecting his personality and career trajectory.

Tousled short hair with a taper fade may look elegant and graceful initially, but fans know that the short ‘do is a thin veil over Hemsworth’s edgy, expressive style. Trading his signature blonde for more caramel and golden hues only contributed to the attractiveness of the rugged yet sophisticated cut. Before Hemsworth made his debut in Hollywood he was just a young Australian actor working his way up the entertainment ladder. It was around this short period during the late noughties that he also rocked the traditional buzz cut (he did it again later for 2012’s Red Dawn and Cabin in the Woods). Pulling it off is even easier with a crew cut clipper or hair clipper making easy work of self-grooming.

As he began to take on more significant roles in Hollywood, he experimented with different shades of blonde hair, ranging from dirty to bleached hair. Later, he even went as far as to dye his hair brown and black to enhance his character’s personality for various roles. However, it was his portrayal of Thor in 2011 that catapulted Hemsworth into international stardom. Hemsworth’s signature blonde mane for the character became an instant hit and earned him a legion of fans. Lines in Thor Ragnarok hairstyle were supposed to look like the cut was performed using old-fashioned clippers.

To get Chris Hemsworth’s taper fade haircut, ask your barber to start with long hair on the top of your head and taper the hair shorter down the sides. In Extraction, Hemsworth boasted a clever crew cut with a fade and side-swept fringe. Traditionally, the militant style features very short hair and a skin fade, but the rugged masculinity shines through by letting some of the hair in front grow long.

Although there is no specific Thor Ragnarok haircut name, you can simply refer to it as Thor long hair styles. Chris is one of those trendsetters who we can blame for the popularity of a man bun. His virile and hunky appearance gives the hairstyle a masculine air. So, opting for it, you can rest assured that it will not compromise your manliness. When the actor needs to look his absolute best for a fancy event, Thor Ragnarok hair is styled in the most elegant and neat way.

The spiky hair is still in place, but this time around due to natural causes. The most notable difference between this picture and the one above is that the short haircut base above was a crew cut. Below, you get to see what wet hair looks like when combined with a taper fade. Use two clipper guards for the disconnected double taper fade haircut. Begin with a #6 size guard for the upper sides of the head and down the back. Create an abrupt transition to a #5 low taper undercut that curves along the arches.

Stone Crandall’s hairstyle from Vacation is not that easy to recreate. Your barber surely knows how to recreate this look, but to keep it tidy and neat, you’ll need to trim it regularly. A small portion of gel or wax applied on the hair while it is still wet will help you keep the contour as perfect as Jack Eckert’s in Red Dawn.

Though slightly longer than a traditional crew, the mussed and tousled top added his signature boyish charm to an otherwise militant cut. He wore it well in the late 2000s, then again in 2012 for Cabin in the Woods and Red Dawn for a rugged, militant appearance that suited his roles. The clean, no-nonsense style draws the eye to the center of Hemsworth’s face, and short facial hair completes the look. Hemsworth’s undercut in Extraction 2 is an adaptable, versatile look ideal for style-conscious men everywhere. The textured hair on top flows to the side from a hidden part, which stands out against the buzzed sides.

If you want to get a cool and casual look like Chris Hemsworth’s in Ca$h, get yourself good electric clippers. Apply some pre-styling mousse and blow-dry your hair to get the needed volume. Using a brush or your fingers, sweep your hair to the side you prefer. While your hair is still wet, separate it with a comb to get a side part. Try and check which side part looks better and feels more comfortable.

Faux Hawk Short Chris Hemsworth Haircut

It’s essentially the perfect mid-length haircut which has just enough polish to balance his brawny masculinity. Hemsworth rocks this style in films such as Ghostbusters and the latest Men in Black reboot. Make sure you see a reputable barber or hairstylist to pull this one off. Completely shaving his head is the only thing Thor hasn’t done. Hemsworth’s textured medium-length cut might answer those seeking a relaxed aesthetic.

Why did Thor cut his hair in Ragnarok?

Chris Hemsworth has long been celebrated for his array of stylish and adaptable haircuts, setting trends and defying conventions. Below are some of his most highly-praised hairstyles, accompanied by tips on achieving these looks. Give a playful twist to your locks, especially to the front portion, with this dashing and frame-facing hairstyle. Keep the front length slightly longer to add a touch of youthful charm and relaxed confidence to your appearance.

# 25 Crew Cut – Jed Eckert Haircut from Red Dawn

Pull the hair back and tie it into a loose ponytail at the base of your back. If you are experiencing hair loss and do not possess sufficient hair to attempt a similar haircut, what are your options? Fear not, for you can achieve this haircut with a hair toupee.

Undercut and Messy Fringe with Beard

Hemsworth was likely in the process of growing his hair out, and he did so beautifully. The transformative allure of Chris Hemsworth’s hairstyling repertoire serves as a catalyst for modern men’s grooming trends. From the untamed beauty of his Thor locks to the polished elegance of his red-carpet moments, Hemsworth provides a template for those looking to elevate their aesthetic. Consider it the facial hair equivalent of a well-chosen accessory that complements rather than overshadows your hairstyle.

Tousled layers are perfect if you want a trendy and low-maintenance appearance. Last but not least, do note that Chris has naturally straight hair that helps him pull off all these messy hairstyles. As such, if your texture leans towards the wavy or curly side, use styling products to sculpt your locks similarly. Request a short, textured haircut with shorter sides and back.

Below, you can see him sporting a classy cropped and layered short haircut. Moving on, we have another short Chris Hemsworth haircut, this time around in a more orderly fashion (but just barely). This is a hard part haircut whose top is left stylishly messy.

With clippers’ control, you do not have to worry about cutting too much of your hair. This haircut is easy to style, and you can change your fringe back whenever you want a different look. To get the look of Owen Chase from In The Heart of The Sea, wash and towel-dry your hair.

It's a relaxed and straightforward style that suits casual attires. Just add a touch of water or styling product to keep those front locks in place, and you'll have a relaxed and carefree look that's perfect for a day out in the sun. This haircut features a buzzed or shaved head with an amazingly spiky or textured top. The style conveyed a rugged and tough appearance, fitting perfectly for those who want an edgy hairdo. This dashing look is sure to garner attention and admiration wherever you go. You can also customize the hairstyle according to your facial features and personality.

It’s a no-fuss, low-maintenance style that’s perfect for men who want to look stylish and put together without having to spend too much time on their hair. Machohairstyles was created by friends who were frustrated with the lack of resources for everything men’s hair. Ultimately, we realized that a stylish haircut and hairstyle went a long way in making us feel confident, fresh, and empowered – both in our professional and personal lives. Hemsworth’s hair evolution could never be complete without at least one foray into modern quiff territory.

To get the short quiff, ask your barber for a high skin fade on the sides cut with clippers. Leave the top of your hair a little bit messy by adding some wax or pomade for texture. But if it looks a bit messy, let’s say, in the morning, you can apply some gel or pomade to add texture and height. But to keep the shape of your short crew cut neat, you’ll need to visit your barber at least twice a week. Here Chris wears his hair messy and full of texture, covering the entire top of his head. The sides and back are buzzed as short as his beard in an undercut shape – though some may also consider this a fade on the sides.

Try Color WOW’s style on steroids texture spray after styling to create hold and texture.

The center-parted lob has a tomboyish vibe that’s perfect for active and sporty women. A more professional approach to a shaggy layered haircut requires a good blowout with ample volume. When you’re in the stylist’s chair, ask for wispy, feathered layers that begin at around chin-length, and request volumizing products for just the roots. Fine-haired women over 60 might want to go for a medium shaggy cut with soft layers. Short or mid-length layered hair looks fuller and more voluminous, so keep it in mind when browsing haircuts for women for your next makeover.

For women with fine or thin hair, a wavy shag with side-swept bangs will help bring fullness throughout the hair, especially if your hair is fine or thin. Side-swept bangs work if they are texturized softly at the end of the strands to create a soft bend. Try turning this into a wavy layered cut with a large barrel curling iron to show off movement. For a modern shag to meet its full potential, a combination of choppy ends and added texture is a must. If you want to cut your long hair, this length is perfect if you’re scared of going too short. Styling is versatile and can be worn curly, wavy, or straight.

Rock this low maintenance cut with your natural hair texture for the easiest option or use a flat iron to quickly tuck the ends under for an everyday look. Keep your length but make it lower maintenance by working in some shaggy texture through the ends with a razor and slide-cutting soft, long bangs. The octopus cut – a version of the shag with longer bottom layers – is all the rage today. The great news is that you don’t have to be a teenage girl to sport it. Although with a bit of edginess, it looks equally good on women over 60, so steal this idea if you fancy looking more youthful. When you want to keep your hair off your face, a messy updo is an ideal choice that combines style with ease.

The perfect medium shag haircuts for women over 60 that want volume and texture is the wolf cut with crown layers. A cross between a shag and a mullet, the wolf cut is a choppy, fierce, and feral look for women that want to embrace their wild side. Short shag hairstyles for women over 60 are part pixie cut and part modern-day mullet – with a focus on crown height. 60-year-olds that want to channel some serious rockstar vibes should opt for a mullet pixie shag hairstyle.

Consider showing photos of your favorite wolf cut hairstyles to your stylist to ensure a look that is customized for you and your hair type. Some of the most popular medium cuts include long bobs and shags, ironed pin-straight, or enhanced with waves. Bangs can frame the face while enhancing vibrance, and layers can lighten thicker strands and create movement. To prove the sheer amount of possibilities, we tapped hair pros Leela and Giovanni Vaccaro for their expertise on both trendy and timeless medium-length hairstyles.

At your next appointment, ask for some professional product options. They trick is too brush all your hair up from the nape into a ponytail on your forehead. Grab it where you want to cut( from the end) after a straight blunt cut , take scissors and make a few cuts up. A pixie style can be trimmed to a shag cut by feathering the layers and wisping them towards the front. Dab a little bit of texturizing gel to keep your fabulous haircut in place.

Where your bangs begin in this style can enhance or neutralize certain facial features. Your stylist can customize the rest of your cut based on your bang starting length. Consider an easy shag cut with fringe for thick hair if you’re looking for a fun style that will eliminate all your bulky problem areas. A shaggy hairstyle with bangs, when cut with a razor, can make thick blunt hair look soft and wispy. Find a stylist who is experienced in razor cutting to get your customized version of this cut. A simple textured shag with curtain bangs is a perfect transition to a full-on shag with thick hair but it also works well for women with fine hair.

With less weight pulling them down, your curls can spring to life and maintain their shape more effortlessly. If you prefer longer hair, choosing a long layered haircut is a great option. Long layers add movement, texture, and dimension to your hair, enhancing its natural beauty. Shoulder-length choppy haircuts are totally trending right now! These create a fun, modern look that matches most women’s face shapes.

"You could split the hair into four sections, blow-dry with a round brush, and be done in five or 10 minutes." Several women over 50 make the choice to cut their hair short, and while it’s a practical and versatile option to consider, it’s far from the only one. "You don’t have to put yourself in a box and cut off all your hair after the age of 55," says hairstylist Alisha Leela.

Fractal Design Define R5 Radiator compatibility chart : Fractal Design Support

fractal design define r5

While the drive cages are ostensibly tool-free, the thumbscrews used to secure them are super-tight out of the box, so a screwdriver is a must here, too. With all of the drive cages removed, the R5 can accept radiators up to 360 mm in length behind the front fan mounts, as well as extra fans or radiators at the bottom of the case. The Define R5’s instruction manual suggests that the bottom drive cage can be moved to the middle of the case, which is nice if you need both front radiator support and room for 3.5″ drives. For a full accounting of the various drive cage configurations that are possible with this case, check out the Define R5’s manual. There’s plenty of space for cable routing behind the motherboard tray, plus some thoughtful touches. Fractal includes three Velcro straps in the R5, which are used to route the front-panel cables by default.

Define R5: Radiator Compatibility Chart

Here we see the side ventilation in the bezel, tight lines around the panel, and some chromed feet at the bottom. We also see a ModuVent panel covering an optional fan location to provide fresh air to the video cards. The chart then moves on to spacing behind the motherboard tray, and it also mentions the Velcro tie straps, the option to switch the front panel swing, and the cool latch system for the left door. The chart also informs us that we will be able to find this chassis in black, titanium, and white, all of which will have the option of a solid panel or a windowed panel. Moving into weights and measures, we see that the R5 is 232mm wide, 451mm in height, 531mm deep, and weighs in at 10.2 kilos while empty.

The series debuts with a tour of a tranquil upstate New York retreat designed with Passive House principles. The blue radiators are restricted to a 55mm thickness, because of possible motherboard interference. The Define Series of cases focuses on delivering the perfect balance between silent operation and minimalist Scandinavian design.

Dust Filters

The R5 itself has “Designed in Sweden” stamped into its sheet metal, in case you weren’t getting the message. Fractal Design has done a fantastic job designing the Define R5, it is by far one of the highest quality cases we have reviewed thus far. First, Fractal-Design desperately needs to put another 140mm fan on the front to improve airflow. Fractal Design Define series has always been the successful line of chassis, with this fifth iteration which continues to innovate with its exclusive noise isolations. The Define R5 manages to keep it up compared to the competition in the aspects of...

In the front of the chassis, there is room for a pair of 120 or 140mm fans, and there is a single FD Dynamic GP14 fan installed that will cruise along at 1000 RPM. The rear of the chassis will also allow for a 120 or 140mm fan, but only one, and this is where the second GP14 fan is preinstalled. After the ModuVent is removed, the top of the chassis will allow for up to three 120mm or 140mm fans to be installed. Depending on PSU length and HDD cage installation, the floor of the chassis has room for another pair of either 120mm or 140mm fans. The ninth, and final fan location is in the left side of the chassis, near the bottom of the panel, but as the chassis is shipped, this location is blocked with a ModuVent cover.

Define R5: Water Cooling Radiator Options

Additionally, the chassis offers a three fan, three position fan controller built into the front bezel, and the front and floor of the chassis are covered with easily accessible and removable dust filtering. The Define R5 was designed with configurability in mind, accommodating up to 8 hard drives and all modem graphics card. Should you wish to expand your system with water cooling components or more fans the layout can easily be configured to meet your demand. We can also reproduce fractal patterns in a computer, often with strangely beautiful results. Some graphic designers use fractal methods to reproduce very realistic-looking landscapes and other natural phenomena.

The metal drive trays at the front of the R5 can accept up to eight 2.5″ or 3.5″ drives. Still, the R5’s drive mounting scheme is my biggest complaint about the case. Mounting a drive to a tray requires four rubber grommets and screws, unlike the simpler snap-on plastic drive trays in almost every other modern case.

Storage features

Fractal Design has lined the side and top panels of the R5 with this foam, too. While the door might look like it’s made of metal, it’s really just thick plastic with a metallic veneer. ModuVent™ fan slot covers allow the user to Install more fans if desired or keep fan slots covered for maximum sound absorption. New to the ModuVent plates found in the R5 is the tool less design feature, and a solid, fluid look on the outside of the ModuVent plate. The 3 ModuVents on the top of the case can be removed one by one and are wider than ever in order to accommodate space for water-cooling should you wish to go that route. The other thing that we need to point out, even though we expected it, is that once the bays are all out of the chassis, there is a fair bit of torsion flex when you try to move the chassis around without the panels on.

In modern times we have a greater need for urban environments to be legible to us, and there is evidence that we do this by reading fractal relationships in buildings and details (after all, we have evolved with this sense). From an evolutionary point of view, it’s evident that we perceive these relationships because they are supremely useful to us. They help us understand the structure of choices that our environments present, and how the different alternatives might offer us different benefits. Importantly, fractal urban structures typically provide multiple combinations of benefits that work in synergy. For example, the branching, layered, fractal-like paths we can take within a city help us carry out many different tasks simultaneously. The time required for higher-level exchange is therefore used more effectively, and the net effect is a synergy of activities that often translate into economic, social, and other benefits.

The Define R5 case reaches the highest level of silent computing through strategically placed dense sound-dampening material, ModuVent™ fan vent covers and finely tuned Dynamic Series fans. Should you wish to expand your system with water cooling components or more fans, the layout can easily be configured to meet your demand. The lower half of the chart explains all of the cooling options that are designed into this chassis, as well as the built-in features that will help simplify things.

Nikos A. Salingaros is a mathematician and polymath known for his work on urban theory, architectural theory, complexity theory, and design philosophy. He has been a close collaborator of the architect and computer software pioneer Christopher Alexander. Salingaros published substantive research on Algebras, Mathematical Physics, Electromagnetic Fields, and Thermonuclear Fusion before turning his attention to Architecture and Urbanism. He still is Professor of Mathematics at the University of Texas at San Antonioand is also on the Architecture faculties of universities in Italy, Mexico, and The Netherlands.

Interchangeable top covers allow you to switch between solid steel for full noise suppression or a ventilated cover for extra cooling. Outside of the chassis, we found another bag containing all of the paperwork for the Define R5. There is also a red insert that offers support and other information for various countries Fractal supplies cases to. Perhaps most importantly (to mangle another Steve Jobs-ism), the best-designed products should delight their owners. That rare quality, along with the R5’s many virtues and sensible price, make this case an easy pick for our coveted Editor’s Choice award. According to this study by researchers at the University of Florida, the accuracy of these apps varies widely, with most over-reporting noise levels, and at least one under-reporting.

Since we left the interior stripped behind the front panel, we appreciate the bay covers, but if you want a triple radiator in the front, then you may want to remove them. We also went ahead and swapped the swing of the front panel, which took all of moving two screws and clips from one side to the other. Just touching on the cooling, we see there are nine locations, but the second bit of the chart takes it much further. As for the effectiveness of the foam-lined side panels, the results are somewhat mixed. The Define didn’t dampen their song completely, but it did cut down on the whine enough to make them only mildly distracting.

What’s more, this mounting system means that owners will have to worry about keeping the Define R5’s included hardware organized and stored somewhere. I haven’t built a PC with a front door in a long time (remember Antec’s P180?), but the concept has lived on in the Define series. Not only does the door help to keep the exterior clean-looking, but it’s also the first line of defense in the Define R5’s silencing features. Opening the door reveals a foam-lined interior, similar to the Cooler Master Silencio 652S that Cyril recently reviewed.

That said, the most accurate of the apps the UF researchers tried—SoundMeter by Faber Acoustical—tracked the study’s $3825 control meter within 5 dBA across the range of frequencies tested. Noise levelsBefore we discuss how loud the Define R5 gets, a couple words about my noise testing methods. I make no secret of the fact that I use an iPhone app to measure the noise levels of the hardware I test, and we’ve always warned against placing too much weight on the data collected this way. Nevertheless, some of our readers have expressed concerns about the accuracy of my results. I was hoping my tests would reveal a clear winner here, but they didn’t, really.

Taylor Swift Brought Back Her 'Reputation' Curls at Travis Kelce's Latest Game

In her leading single Look What You Made Me Do, the songstress made it clear as day that she was done playing and would no longer be taking any abuse — no matter what Kanye had to say about it. Months ahead of the release of 1989, Swift once again shocked the world in February 2014 by shearing off her long blonde waves in favour of a chic, blunt-cut bob. The shearing was presided over by OG squad members Cara Delevigne and Ellie Goulding, marking the end of an era in Taylor Swift’s hair and beauty evolution, and ushering in a brand-new world of styles to be explored. With the exception of special red carpet and performance looks, Swift’s makeup has largely remained the same throughout the years.

How we test the best curlers

With a nod to the side bangs of her early days, Swift's 1989-era lob was simultaneously fresh and reminiscent of her past. Taylor Swift shocked her fans early Friday morning by releasing a second half of her much-anticipated album "The Tortured Poets Department." Additionally, consider how good you are at curling your hair – if things like this don’t come easily to you might be best off with the BaByliss Curl Secret which pretty much does it all for you…. The Wahl curling tong isn’t ugly, or indeed bulky, but it is basic rather than inspiring looking. That said the tongs feel fine in the hand, however, we did find the on/off switch a little confusing as it lights up red and we’d expect a green light to signal ready to use.

Before Getting Bangs and Going Fully Straight in 2012

Taylor disappeared from the spotlight at the end of 2016 and beginning of 2017, and when she returned, her hair was back to a curly look. She still had straight bangs, but she often wore her hair in some sort of a curly ‘do. On her Reputation tour in 2018, the tighter, wet-looking curls were her go-to look. Taylor Swift, 30, was just a teenager when she started her career in the music industry. Of course, her entire look has gone through a major transformation over the years, but the most noticeable change from then to now is the singer’s hair.

Best Hairspray For Shine

As Taylor started growing up, she began styling the curls in more sophisticated hairstyles. Elegant updos became a staple for Taylor, even when she was wearing them with her street style. Oftentimes, the hair was parted to the side and pulled back, with curls falling down the front or side of her face.

Inclement weather on one of her three nighttime stops only added to the curl power. The May 7 show was delayed a few hours due to rain, but Swift eventually took the stage and let her dark blonde curls do their thing with the moisture in the air. Ever the consummate performer, Swift didn't let a few sprinkles rain on her parade. Her large waves framed her face and paired perfectly with her natural-looking makeup. And, of course, her signature bangs were front and center, with just a hint of curl on the bottom.

Nostalgic ’80s disco imbued with camp and charm marks the Midnights aesthetic. The latest notch in the evolution of Taylor Swift’s inimitable style, Midnights era hair is a natural progression that follows her Folklore and Evermore eras. Over the past couple of years, Swift has maintained a lustrous curtain of sleek waves, her bangs immaculately styled to perfectly frame her face. Swift soon brought her shaggy bob out for a spin, debuting it on the red carpets of the 2014 Met Gala, and the 2014 iHeartRadio Music Festival, pairing it with — you guessed it — red lipstick and sharp winged eyeliner. Taylor Swift’s beauty and hair evolution has carried her through 10 albums and several different hairstyles. Her aesthetic today marries the hallmarks of her unique style, characterised by her journey from young girl to a determined, tenacious, and proudly sparkling woman who is not afraid to shine in the spotlight.

How to choose the best hair curlers for you

It's also alcohol free, 97% natural and specifically designed to nurture and protect curls; delivering hold throughout the day without the harmful traditional hairspray ingredients that dry out this fragile hair type. For glam, the pop star parted her hair down the middle and styled her blonder locks in tight curls. Swift's Grammys look did, however, end up tying into the music video for "Fortnight," which was released the evening of April 19. In the black-and-white video, the singer wears a strapless white dress that looks like a wedding gown. Fans were quick to point out that it also bears a strong resemblance to the Schiaparelli gown she wore to the awards ceremony. The queen of dropping Easter eggs for her fans, the 34-year-old megastar has been incorporating braids into her hairstyles for months now, subtly hinting at her latest project.

She tucked her wavy blonde hair and bangs underneath a hood for this fiery number at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida. Released as sister albums at the height of the pandemic, both Folklore and Evermore evoke woodsy cottagecore vibes — vibes that Swift ultimately embraced in the albums’ music videos and her subsequent red carpet looks. Three months later, she attended the 2016 Met Gala, and once again made waves for her huge hair transformation. At the event, Swift stepped out of her comfort zone by rocking a peroxide-blonde hairdo that gave ‘I got out of bed like this’, and a dark cherry liquid lipstick by Anastasia Beverly Hills. Swift returned to her side bang and chopped off her long hair into a shoulder-grazing bob. Teardrops may have been falling on her guitar, but her natural curly hair texture was nothing to cry over.

T3 has done the hard work so you don’t have to, so read on for the best curlers in 2024 from Dyson, ghd, BaByliss and more. She made her ensemble pop even more with platinum blonde hair and burgundy lips. What I worry about now is that Swift is trapped with this new look and curls aren’t even an option. The precision cut with bangs doesn’t really lend itself to a wash and wear look. As someone who rocked bangs and layers in the ‘80s, I was a slave to my blowdryer and curlers. Swift embraced her hair’s natural curls for the night, letting them hang loose over her black corset top and pleated skirt, the latter of which she cinched with a black belt.

The tongs, which heat quickly to a top temperature of 200 degrees, have a clamp which holds the hair in place and makes them super easy to use – we found we were immediately able to form perfect bouncy curls in six seconds per curl. We were super impressed with both the glossy medium-sized curls these tongs created and the high-end features including cool-touch tip and integrated stand. Leading up to the April 19 release of The Tortured Poets Department, the star has been wearing braids more frequently. At the 66th Annual Grammy Awards in February 2024, Swift wore a white strapless Schiaparelli gown with a thigh-high slit and structured bodice, accessorizing with black opera gloves and layered necklaces. Her hair was swept to the side in textured waves with a braid running through it. In contrast to Swift's neutral-toned outfit, Carpenter, 24, who is supporting Swift on her Eras Tour in Australia and Singapore, wore a red and white polka-dot minidress with lace ruffle detailing.

She made the huge feat seem effortless with a plunging gold jumpsuit, while nodding to her signature look from when she made her debut—that’s right, Taylor Swift brought back her classic country curls. Then, she made friends with a bottle of bleach and took her natural blonde hue up a few notches, debuting a shocking shade of platinum which became known as the "Vogue" makeover. She began to experiment with Old Hollwood-inspired curls like this metro look worn to the Met Gala. Then came 2013, the Year of the Pony, as she sported the look, paired with her straight bangs, to almost every event. But sometime in 2011, Swift was introduced to a flat iron, and started smoothing her strands on a more regular basis. Jon Bon Jovi stood blinking, rubbing his eyes, temporarily blinded on Thursday night by the lights from a row of photographers.

Ever since the singer-songwriter made the switch from country to pop after her 2012 "Red" album, her locks have gone sleek. This compact curler from Toni&Guy is perfect for tucking into your suitcase (once holidays are a thing again, of course), while still packing the power of a full-size styler. The ghd wand heats up to 185 degrees, which we love, as this is the optimum temperature for styling, without heat damage – there tri-zone technology also works brilliantly, even distributing the heat across the barrel.

It also makes the album her longest ever, edging out of “Red (Taylor’s Version)” by one song. “I don’t want to rush through anything; I want to make sure everyone who’s ordering the skort gets the same quality that Taylor got,” she notes. In an effort to meet the overwhelming demand, Ho enabled preorders for the lavender skort on her Shopify site — “we never do this,” she says — and has since sold “about 7,000” of the Swift-approved style. Since they’ll all be made from scratch, the skorts will ship in August. Abbie constantly puts her body on the line to try out the latest beauty and grooming tech. She's reviewed everything from IPL hair removal machines to hair dryers and toothbrushes.

And ICYWW, she was an honored co-chair of the Manus X Machina-themed event. One thing is for certain — no matter what era she’s currently in, the evolution of Taylor Swift, from her music to her style, is set to be a never-ending adventure. Having embraced the shaggy bob and blunt-cut bangs, Swifties were all aboard — then at the 2016 Grammy Awards, Swift premiered a short bob, the shortest she had ever gone. Swifties the world over marvelled at the songstress’ long straightened hair, blunt-cut bangs, sensual nude lip, and a smoky eye that signalled the arrival of the Real Taylor Swift. All of Taylor Swift's best hairstyles, haircuts, curls, and more since 2006 until now. Although her country days may be over, it seems Swift is going back to basics with her new curly look.

On one site, a fellow curly provides a step-by-step tutorial on achieving Swift’s new lob. It had 8 steps, involving a blowdryer, flatiron and curling iron as well as a number of products. If people want to straighten their curls, we provide them with the information and tips they need to do it with as little damage as possible. But what bothers me is the impact – and reaction – to her straighter look. The black and white Chiefs cap had the words ‘Super Bowl Champions’ embroidered across the front, honoring Kelce’s team's victory against the San Francisco 49ers at the 2024 Super Bowl on Feb. 11. Ever wonder how Taylor Swift keeps those luscious locks of hers looking so amazing?

Throughout 2015, Swift continued to experiment with various styles for her shaggy cut, from curls to straightened to slicked-back knots. The messy bob and low ponytail both became emblematic of her 1989 World Tour, and likewise featured prominently in her music videos of the time, from Blank Space and Shake It Off to Wildest Dreams and New Romantics. Swift stopped by her adopted hometown of Nashville for several shows on her Eras tour and her natural curls were thrilled and tantalized by the warmth and humidity of the southern state.

Folklore Era ( and Evermore Era (

Fresh off the success of her first album, a 17-year-old Swift rocked an iteration of the curls she’d soon be known for. The deep side part and long locks quickly became synonymous with the star, and today, those voluminous tendrils are reminiscent of her country roots and the Taylor we all first met. We were impressed with how natural the curls looked – the styler automatically alternates the curl direction each time a section of hair is drawn into the chamber to achieve this. It has two heat settings of 210C and 230C and 3 timer settings for different curl effects. Other features we rate include the heat ready indicator and 20min sleep mode function. This styler is such good value for money and a staple for anyone who loves the big and bouncy look.

Sleek & Parted Curtain Bangs

Fishtail braids, pigtails, low buns, and devil-may-care frizz dominated the aesthetics of these eras, bringing Swift down to the earth in an appealing and relatable way. Emboldened by the revival of slow living in mainstream media, Swift incorporated symbols of bygone fashions — flower crowns, velvet capes, and white lace, further celebrating the beauty of the natural world amidst isolation. Swift’s bob was not the last surprise of 2014; in December, the singer posed on the cover of Wonderland magazine, featuring her hair slicked back in summery wet waves. Most notably, however, were her eyebrows, which were filled in fully to render her nearly unrecognisable. Swift has been a chameleon when it comes to her hair, changing styles across the years, but one thing she keeps consistent is her fringe.

Our top picks for the best hairsprays in 2024:

Her curls were already forming by the time she got through the Lover set, reaching their full zenith by the time she was seated at the piano for the Evermore portion of the evening. Swift's Reputation-inspired glam came just a day after her boyfriend also nodded to the 2017 album with his all-black outfit. Touching down in Baltimore, Travis stepped off the plane wearing a black double-breasted blazer with a black T-shirt, trousers, sneakers, and a beanie. But perhaps the biggest giveaway of all was the silver chain necklace he wore around his neck, which was reminiscent of the one Swift debuted on her original album cover. Swift was doing exactly that with Sabrina Carpenter when she stepped out with her cute curls, also wearing a black corset (reminiscent of the one she wore to the Super Bowl!) with a pleated miniskirt.

Taylor Swift's Beauty Evolution Is A Journey Through Each Of Her Eras.

In a new clip shared to YouTube Shorts, Swift is seen wearing the style in the recording studio. Over the last few years, she began testing out shorter hairstyles, and made the big cut in February 2014. She actually uploaded a video to Instagram taken during her latest haircut in London. The pop superstar, 34, even toned down her makeup, forgoing her signature red lip that she’s been rocking at her boyfriend Travis Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs games in favor of a matte pink hue.

The “All Too Well” singer just wrapped up a series of performances in Melbourne, where she revealed she’d be putting her future concerts through a major change. Kicking off her record-breaking Eras Tour in March 2023, Swift’s bangs were met with some longer, face-framing pieces that extended towards her cheekbones (which, ICYWW, are often called “waterfall bangs”). The singer topped off her wispy, pulled-back style with a bejeweled, flowery headband at the Time 100 Gala at NYC's Lincoln Center in spring 2019. Taylor Swift has reportedly dated 10 public figures including Joe Jonas, Tom Hiddleston, Harry Styles, and Joe Alwyn, among others.

And Then Entered an Era of Very Romantic Updos In 2007

Throughout her career, Taylor has changed her hairstyle a number of times, and she pulls off every look like a total pro. She brings nearly a decade of writing and editing expertise, and her work has appeared in Allure, Health, Fitness, Marie Claire, StyleCaster, and Parents. She also has an unhealthy adoration for Tom Hanks and would like to please meet him one day, if you could arrange that.

There have been numerous discussion board threads dominated by this topic. We’ve seen similar transformations on a regular basis on such reality shows as American Idol, with contestants getting straighter makeovers the further they advance in the competition. It’s troubling that there still seems to be a perception that in order to be successful, you have to change something so central to your identity. It’s as if the word curly and chic are oxymorons, which they aren’t. Looking through her transformation galleries, my reaction was that Swift can look beautiful, stylish and yes, chic, with her hair curly, straight, wavy, up, down, etc. The “Hey Stephen” singer and her Eras Tour opener Sabrina Carpenter enjoyed a girls’ night in Sydney on Tuesday, stepping out to dine at Pellegrino 2000 in the city’s Surry Hills neighborhood.

The BaByliss Curl Secret is the only hair curler on test that isn’t a wand of some sort. It’s super simple to use too - you simply clamp it on a piece of hair, which it sucks up and forms into perfect curls and then beeps three times to let you know its done. This flexible hairspray from Living Proof is ideal for days when you're doing multiple styles. It can be used on damp or dry hair and will keep the shape of whatever look you're going for (updos, beachy waves, you name it), but isn't so stiff or strong that you can't switch things up without having to wash your hair first. And to remind you of just how much Taylor Swift has changed since 2006 (yes, you're old; we're all old), we rounded up her best, most memorable hair moments of the last decade, from her curling-iron curls to her platinum-blonde lob. Swift then discovered a curling iron, definining her natural texture into perfect ringlets.

This model uses powerful airflow combined with controlled heat, to dry and style your hair all at once. It has intelligent heat control to ensure you don’t damage your hair, always remaining below 150 degrees. Suitable for all hair types, this vegan formula focusses on texture, delivering the big volume and body of old school stiff options, but with the lightweight invisible finish we look for today. The shift happened almost immediately at night 2 of her first stop in Brazil, where a summertime storm showered the whole stadium in rain before Swift even took the stage.

Some have said the new look is more grown up, as if you can’t be a curly adult.

Her earliest eras were marked by the generous use of pink lip gloss and soft coral shades, admittedly age-appropriate choices that reflected her girlish innocence and country-singer charm. In 2009, Swift began switching up her lipstick, marking the first appearance of her now-iconic shades of red on the March 2009 cover of Allure. Of course, during the early years of Taylor’s career, she was known for her signature ringlet curls. While most girls her age were obsessed with flat-ironing their locks, Taylor kept her curls intact.

She even revisited the spiral curls on the album cover for the forthcoming Speak Now (Taylor's Version) with a softer, more modern take on her earlier curls. No, I’m not hating on the short bob she rocked at the “I Heart Radio Music Awards” Sunday night. But it seems like years since we’ve caught a glimpse of the 3a/3b ringlets that made her a curly icon when she hit the scene as a country-singing teenager. Those curls inspired an entire generation of teens to give their flatirons a rest – at least for a day or two.

We were really impressed with the precision locking system and the fact that even our thick hair only needed five seconds per curl. Hairsprays are made using a blend of different types of polymers, allowing the formula to be either a light, medium, or maximum hold. If you're looking for something moveable that still provides a little bit of hold, go for a light or medium hairspray.

Throughout this era, Swift retained the choppy blunt bob characteristic of Reputation, but switched it up on occasion by dyeing her tips hot pink. And at the 2019 Billboard Music Awards, Swift stunned on the red carpet in a gorgeously ruffled purple minidress, putting her hair up into a romantic braided updo and emphasising her eyes with purple eyeshadow and bold lashes. In May 2020, Swift showcased pastel blue and pink streaks in her hair, keeping the Lover boat well and truly alive. True to its inspirations — Swift’s relationship with then-beau Joe Alwyn — the Lover era saw the songstress adopt pastel hues in her styling, hair, and makeup. Colours featured prominently across Swift’s red carpet wardrobe choices, emulating the playful femininity of the album, its songs, and its inherently romantic lyrics.

Define R5 Product Manual : Fractal Design Support

fractal design define r5

The Define R5’s motherboard tray is pretty conventional by modern standards, with the requisite set of rubber grommets ringing its border. Interestingly, the motherboard tray is recessed a little bit, which helps to explain the R5’s ability to swallow 180-mm-tall CPU coolers. The motherboard tray also features an enormous cutout to facilitate the installation of CPU cooler backplates. On the right, a much more sparse, fractal-free environment in the modern suburbs of Bruges—which is also far less walkable, and has other negative impacts. The pedestrian networks of medieval Rome have a fractal structure, extending into the buildings and even the rich ornamental details of the buildings themselves. These “place networks” offer pedestrians a dense and overlapping set of choices of movement, views, and other enriching experiences.

Quick release system

To be fair, the Obsidian 450D does have an extra 140-mm fan spinning away in its front panel, but the Corsair case also lacks the Define R5’s foam-insulated front door and top panels. As a result, more noise can escape from the Obsidian 450D, period, no matter what cooling method you choose. Thanks to all of the foam, the Define R5 seems to do a better job of muffling the worst sounds from inside the case, especially hard drive noise. The R5’s foam-insulated front door is a much better noise barrier than 450D’s open mesh panel, as evidenced by the three to six dBA gap in noise levels measured at the front of each case. Just as biological structures and computer algorithms spontaneously repeat their geometric patterns at different scales, so do we, unless we’re forced to do otherwise either by legislation or by ideology. Individuals might make small repetitions of a pattern (a rectangular room shape) while groups might make larger versions of the same pattern (a courtyard) and larger groups might make a still larger one (an urban plaza).

Accessories and Documentation

My Corsair Obsidian 450D and the XFX Type-01 Bravo each required varying degrees of elbow grease to get the expansion card screw holes lined up with the back panel. The Define wasn’t perfect in this regard, but it required only minimal muscling to achieve the same effect. The same was true of my motherboard, which needed only a tiny bit of force to line up with the alignment pin in the center of the mobo tray. I don’t like applying undue force to delicate electronics, so this surprise was a welcome one. With the 5.25″ bays removed, one can mount three 120- or 140-mm fans, or radiators up to 420 mm in length, at the top of the R5.

At the back, we see a slight offset at the top before running into the rear I/O area and adjustable fan location. Below those, we find seven expansion slots with ventilation next to them, and room for the PSU at the bottom. To the right, the panel offers a pin and latch system, so the thumbscrews aren't needed once the chassis is on a stable surface. I wish Fractal had made the removable ModuVent panels at the top of the case a little more finger-friendly.

Define R5: Radiator Compatibility Chart

The new Define 7 Compact takes the strongest features of the contemporary 7 Series design and places them in a conveniently compact frame. It is rare that we find a chassis that is well appointed, strong as an ox, and offers many ways to keep volume from the chassis at bay all at once, but the Define R5 does it all. Fractal Design has broken the mold and shown that they are indeed still relevant, and ready to take the market and its customers head on with this new Define R5 mid-tower. In fact, you practically have to be within an inch or two of the chassis to hear anything from inside of it. Here we find the chassis naming at the top once again, and near the middle, we see the FD-CA-DEF-R5-BK model number is checked off, denoting we have the black model, and not white or titanium.

Fractal Design Define R5 Chassis Review.

Posted: Mon, 24 Nov 2014 08:00:00 GMT [source]

It also would have been really slick if Fractal had included a matching magnetic filter for each ModuVent panel, since the top vent is unfiltered when these panels are removed. Corsair includes a magnetic top filter for the Obsidian 450D in the box, so such an add-in wouldn’t be unprecedented. Both blue and gray radiators may require removal or alternate position of internal HDD or ODD cage. The top framework is fully removable for unprecedented ease of access to interior components, and five front ports (including one USB Type-C) means you don’t sacrifice expandability for the small footprint.

Under the chassis, we find four round feet placed near the corners, and the feet have rubber pads for added grip and protection. We also find one long dust filter that slides out of the front, and this will also provide you with access to HDD cage screws, and allow you to install optional fans. The right side of the chassis is very much like the left side, with the ventilation in the bezel, and an expansive black steel panel. This panel is secured by removable thumbscrews, and both panels swing in and out like car doors.

Dust Filters

The Define R5 delivers lower temperatures than the Obsidian 450D for some components, while the Obsidian keeps other parts cooler. Considering the Define R5 is down a fan against the Obsidian 450D, that’s impressive. Quite honestly the positives outweigh that one negative like a cinder block on a scale with a feather at the other side. The cinder block being the great building accuracy and the engineered flow is a common thought while I built into this case.

For instance at the scale of a region there are not that many structural choices that are relevant to an individual going about his daily activities. At this scale, the fractal loading of our environment vastly expands the structural options, and builds synergies between them. If I am in a well-connected, fractal-loaded spot at this human scale, I can read the newspaper, I can talk to a friend, I can say hello to a passerby, or I can run one errand or more. This is very likely a key reason that, within urban systems, well-structured pedestrian networks are so important. Around back, we find nine features listed, including the chassis' silent operation, H2O support, ModuVent system, GP14 fans, dust filters, HDD cage modularity, hidden drive bays, front panel, and the quick release panel.

fractal design define r5

Fractal Design’s Define R5 is the latest in the company’s Define series of enclosures. Although I’m not aware of a celebrity designer on Fractal’s payroll, the company still makes a big deal of its design chops, and the evolutionary progression of the Define series is very Apple-like. Aside from the fact that “design” is right there in the name, Fractal’s website and product literature are rich with discussions of Scandinavian design philosophy.

(c) Longitudinal tension and breaking along the entire line form a “perforated” fractal, here shown at its first stage. This is a natural mechanism for defining an urban colonnade and any semi-permeable urban boundary, such as a row of bollards that protect pedestrian from vehicular traffic. The new and innovative Quick Release System on the left side of the case provides secure mounting of the left side panel, yet grants quick and easy access to the system. If there is anything to complain about with the Define R5, it would have to be the stock airflow. While it did give us near average results on our CPU and GPU, the chassis is in definite need of more airflow for a gamer or heavy user to be happy in the long term.

The company could have included some corresponding magnetic filters for these top vents, too. I also wish Fractal had made the R5’s drive trays tool-free, and I was let down a little by the case’s occasional hard-drive-related buzziness. With a tower-style air cooler, setting the Define R5’s fan controller on low doesn’t push peak temperatures much higher than when the motherboard is handling fan control duties. SSD temps are the only real exception, and again, they’re probably nothing to worry about. Newly configured front door offers dual side mounting to better fit your work space and now features the same dense xound absorption material as found on the sides of the case for maximum silent computing.

The rendering at the bottom shows the chassis, notes where things are located, and how to remove or access them. If you care about system noise, using the Define’s built-in fan controller isn’t a set-and-forget process. At the controller’s lowest setting, the R5 is quiet at idle, but the decreased airflow means that the components inside get hotter under load—and those components spin their smaller, noisier fans faster to compensate. With the fan controller on high, load noise levels are about the same, but the larger, more pleasant-sounding Fractal Design fans are doing more of the work. Accordingly, it pays to switch the fan controller between its high and low settings as needed. Motherboard fan control remains the best option, but it’s nice that the fan controller is there for those who need it.

If there was ever a time to jump in with both feet and try out a silent chassis with all the bells and whistles, this is it. We have high expectations of cases that can be shot with a shotgun and still sit there smiling back at you, and we were in no way disappointed with the chassis you are about to see. Overall, the R5 is the quietest case I’ve tested, but it’s not going to make an otherwise noisy system quiet on its own. Silent-PC enthusiasts will still need to choose parts carefully to minimize overall system noise.

How to design and build a plastic injection mold

injection mold design

Learn more about the main cost drivers in injection molding and actionable design tips that will help you reduce the costs of your project. An example of an injection molded part with a thread are bottle caps. During ejection, the walls of the part will slide and scrape against the mold, which can result to drag marks.Parts with vertical walls (and no draft angle) are most prone to drag marks. Here is a list of defects to keep in mind while designing a part for injection molding.

Runner and Gate Design

Part shape, draft angles, wall depth, and wall texture determine the number and placement of pins. Material choice will also affect the size and placement of these pins. Likewise, softer plastic polymers will require wider or more pins to help distribute the ejection force to avoid molding defects. Surface finish is another important consideration for injection molding since parts are typically cosmetic and intended for end-use production. Keep in mind that textured surface will require more draft than a more polished finish.

Material Selection

Designing an injection mold can be a complex and intricate process, even for experienced designers. But don’t worry, as we’re here to help troubleshoot common design issues that might arise along the way. Let’s dive into some of the most frequently encountered problems and explore potential solutions.

Injection Molding Basics: An Introduction to Designing Molded Parts

ABS and polystyrene (PS) are prefered here for their excellent impact resistance and good electrical insulation. Injection molding is a manufacturing technology for the mass-production of identical plastic parts with good tolerances. In Injection Molding, polymer granules are first melted and then injected under pressure into a mold, where the liquid plastic cools and solidifies. The materials used in Injection Molding are thermoplastic polymers that can be colored or filled with other additives. I’m also going to give you a free bonus gift, simply because you ordered from this page.

Metal threaded inserts can be added to plastic Injection Molded parts to provide a durable threaded hole for fasteners such as machine screws. The advantage of using inserts is that they allow many cycles of assembly and disassembly.Inserts are installed in Injection Molded parts through thermal, ultrasonic or in-mold insertion. To design a boss that will receive a threaded insert, use similar guidelines as above, using the diameter of the insert as the guiding dimension. The simplest way to deal with an undercut is to move the parting line of the mold to intersect with it.This solution is suitable for many designs with undercuts on an external surface.

Maintaining consistent wall thickness throughout a part enhances structural integrity and aesthetic appeal. Welding always compromises tooling quality, is expensive and delays production startup. Typically, these cooperative, well-planned decisions add little or nothing to the tooling budget and have a minimal effect on production launch. Conversely, some molders want parts designed exactly as expected and don’t want added clearance. That’s why close communication with your selected molder is important. Along with employing proper wall thickness, additional considerations should be looked at to ensure a part's design integrity remains intact.

Lettering requires that you choose a font with the smallest feature, such as Sans Serif. The extra draft must be added to textures and letters with a limited depth. Generally, texture must have a depth of 1.5° min. per 0.025mm (0.001 inch) in addition to the normal draft. This article provides you with a complete guide to aerospace machining and its importance. Glass beads and mica flakes are used to stiffen a composite and reduce warping and shrinkage. Carbon fiber is used to strengthen and/or stiffen a composite and also to aid in static dissipation.

Often called two-shot molding, this process involves molding multiple components together to produce one final product. Virtually every piece of equipment or product we use in our daily life has been produced using injection molding. If any issues or deficiencies are identified during testing, adjustments can be made to optimize the mold’s performance. This may involve modifying cooling channels for better temperature control, adjusting gate locations for improved fill rates, or refining part design for better mold release. Once the mold components are manufactured, they need to be carefully assembled to create the complete mold structure. Each component is accurately fitted together, taking into account core plates, cavity blocks, ejector plates, and other necessary elements.

injection mold design

Because your part design may change based on the trial samples that you receive, there are a few more steps to consider. For lower volume productions (less than 1000 parts), it may be more cost effective to use a secondary operation to complete your injection molded parts. For example, you could drill a hole after molding rather than using an expensive mold with side-action cores. An additive that is commonly used to improve the stiffness of the injection molded parts is fiberglass.

You should also consider the material’s ability to handle assembly processes such as mechanical fastening and welding. While the desirable attributes of the plastic material are essential, you must also consider the cost of purchasing, machining, and finishing the plastic to minimize production costs. The gate design and type depend on the part design, material choice, dimensional requirements, and aesthetic needs of the end product. A key design consideration is to locate gates away from high-stress or impact areas to minimize the risk of defects.

It is also important to consider the visual impact of the parting line on the final product. The line should be designed in a way that minimizes its visibility and does not cross critical surfaces or features such as text or logos. This can help to ensure that the final product meets the required aesthetic standards and enhances the overall quality of the injection molding process. An injection mold can be made using hardened or pre-hardened steel, aluminum, or a beryllium-copper alloy. Top designers and engineers from across the globe turn to Dassault Systèmes for proven, professional, and precise injection mold design software. Designing an injection mold is a critical process that directly impacts the quality and efficiency of plastic manufacturing.

To go only a few shades darker than a "dirty blonde," try a cool, ashy shade of brown like Barbara Palvin. Multifaceted highlights and lowlights can balance your look so it doesn't veer into "gray" territory; of course, if that's what you're going for then by all means. Rather than highlighting entire sections, take a cue from Izzy Bizu and warm up brown hair with some unexpected dashes of gold or honey. "There’s a fine line between dark brown hair and jet black. For a more natural look avoid going too dark and into that jet black family," advises Dosso.

"Balayage is my favorite technique for this look and it's low-maintenance," Valdes tells us. This color will flatter most skin tones, add brightness, and bring the focus back to the person rather than away, she adds. A dark brown-rooted blonde, lived-in hair color allows a brunette to pull off platinum blonde hair while still looking natural. By keeping a darker root shade, the color tends to be more flattering on a girl with naturally darker hair. It’s also extremely low-maintenance because of the way the blonde is blended. Get a wavy brunette balayage on your dark brown hair to complement your skin color.
